I’ve been exercising everyday (a combination of treadmill and the bow-flex) and eating a lot better. I’ve learned that you stop eating when you’re full, not when the plate is empty. And if I get the munchies between meals I’ll have a healthy snack instead. Although I must confess I had a Reese’s peanut butter cup (the mini kind) the other day. I felt so guilt after because I had gone so long without chocolate. I won’t let Billy bring soda in the house either, that way I’ll only drink water. He still has his Dr. Pepper & Vanilla Cokes, both of which I wouldn’t touch anyway.

I’ve noticed a few small changes over the past couple weeks of all this exercise and stuff. My pants fit different, they’re a lot tighter in the ass! I can only hope that all this uphill treadmill jogging has started to create an ass back there. Hopefully some visible result will show soon, that’s the motivator. If I can see a difference then hopefully it won’t seem like a chore anymore.

I’m still upset about the whole job thing, but what can I do about it? I’m just going to have to find something else (hopefully).

Last night the kittens were hell-bent on playing with the Roomba. Every time I’d turn around one of them would be on top of it pushing the “clean” button and then attempting to ride it. It started making a funny noise so I flipped it over and pulled a cat toy out of the brushes. I also discovered more parts that come off of it to clean. I didn’t even know the cat hair would get in some of these places. It runs a lot better now though! I can’t wait to get rid of this carpet and have the hard wood floors down. Less mess, and easier on both it and me to clean.

I found a nifty iPad, iPhone, and Mac app that organizes all your bank statements yesterday. I spent a couple of hours typing every thing in and I’m still not done yet. I’m amazed that so far this year I only had two transactions that I couldn’t remember what the were for. One was my Ad Valorem taxes, and the other I still haven’t figured out. It was to some company I don’t remember for $9 on July 28th. Odd that I can’t remember and it wasn’t that long ago.

Speaking of iPhone, I still love my iPhone 4, and my iPad! I’m excited because Deal Extreme finally has knock-off apple docks for both of them now for like $5 each. I bought a knock-off dock for my 3G from them and it worked perfect. Shipping takes a few weeks since it comes from china but it’s well worth it in savings.

While we are on the subject of iPhones still, my “free” case from Apple has gone missing during shipment. It was shipped DHL Global Mail, where DHL ships it to a local post office near you and then you receive it via USPS. Well the last tracking update had it changing hands from DHL to USPS on the other side of Atlanta on August 16th, and it hasn’t been seen again. USPS won’t open a claim until next Wednesday. I could have walked to where it is (or was) and back by now.

Loki has been very sweet lately. Not that he isn’t usually nice, it’s just rare for him to be this lovey. I can’t complain though. Last night Bailey hit a milestone, he laid down in the bed near Andy and even allowed him to pet him. Granted next time they see each other I’m sure he’ll go back to hiding under the bed like always. Oh, and Plum is still alive and kicking. I think having these five foster kittens has given him a reason to live. He doesn’t want them to turn into his replacement.

Well I think I’ve bored y’all enough, have fun and be safe peeps! Oh and follow me on Twitter guys! Hope to tweet you soon!

I was having a really good day today. Nice workout, good lunch, went for a swim, and then worked on my tan. All in all a pretty good day.

Then this afternoon I get a call from my future employer letting me know that they’ve decided to not hire any more people this year. So they were taking back my job offer. So I just lost a job that I hadn’t even started yet! Fuck Me!!! What has me pissed the most is my very first interview was back in March, and I was offered the job in May. However they push back the start date until September 7th which I wasn’t happy about, but waiting a few months for a good guaranteed job is better than not having one at all. So now I’ve been strung along this long and right before I start they pull the plug. What the fuck am I going to do?

Life always seems to surprise you when you least expect it. Also at the most inconvenient of times it will throw you a curve-ball. This would have been the second year in a row that I would have gotten the holiday’s off from work, and I was really looking forward to it. Actually this year was going to be a bit nicer than last. We were supposed to work tonight (Monday night) and have the rest of the week off for Thanksgiving, and then like last year we were getting the weeks of Christmas and New Years off as well. I save up about two weeks of vacation time each year to use for Thanksgiving week, and Christmas week, The week of New Years is considered next year to payroll, so I just take it without pay, which isn’t a big deal. We always schedule an out of town week right before Christmas so that we will get a larger than norma mileage check to make up for the week without pay. This year we were doing both of the last two weeks before Christmas in Alabama, so it was going to be a really nice milage check for us.

Unfortunately things don’t always pan out the way they are planned. Corporate has decided in their infinite wisdom that they want to save as much money as they can during the holidays and over the last few weeks of the year. So they have decided to cancel all the scheduled inventories for Period 12 (basically the next three weeks). Which means that I now have 93 hours of vacation time to spread across four weeks of no work. I have the option to go and work in a store for extra hours, but since I haven’t worked in a store in over a year and a half I really don’t want to. Plus everyone has hired all of their seasonal employees and won’t have any labor hours to spend on me either.

I guess in a nut-shell I was laid off today.

Best of all, no one actually has any information about next year. So as far as we know we are employed with the company but have nothing to do (i.e. get paid to do) and might, or might not come the first week of January. So lucky me, no job for a month and I can’t even file unemployment. I got the best ‘severance package’ as we’re calling this cashing in our vacation time to cover as much as we can. My boss and co-worker only have 40 and 33 hours (respectively) of vacation time to spread across this coming month.

Needless today tonight at work we weren’t working at full speed. For two reasons actually; one in disbelief, and two we needed tonight to take as long as it could so we could get as many hours on the clock as possible.

So if anyone has any free time here in oh say the next month and wants to hang-out, let me know. I’ll be available and bored. I should probably start practicing doing naughty things on web-cam again for money incase I loose my job entirely. =)

It’s really sad that that’s as positive as I can be…

After lunch and some of the mentioned shopping Andy and I went to the park and walked around and talked for a while. I brought my camera in hopes of getting a few good pictures. Andy wanted some newer shots for myspace, and hell I could use a few new ones myself. Turns out he had never used a real camera before, only the point-and-shoot variety; so I let him have some fun with mine. A good portion of his work came out… less than in-focus, but he did pretty well. I got in a few shots of him early on, one of which I took and did a little HDR mapping with, and came out with the above. It came out pretty neat if I do say so myself. I put it up on my deviant account, so If anyone has any interest in seeing my other work feel free to check out the link. If there is anything you like please comment, fav, or collect it. I could use the rating over there =).

On another note, I’ve noticed that since updating the blog more often, things get bumped off the main page rather quickly; so I’m going to up the post-per-page limit. Currently it’s set to two, and I don’t think three will be enough to notice so I’ll move to four. Anything more than that and it becomes a tad lengthy.

Speaking of blog related things, I wish someone would figure out a way to set MarsEdit to wrap text around pictures in posts. Having it separated is a big ugly, and doing it manually by hand is a pain in the butt. So if anyone knows a better way, speak up please.

I think I’ve taken up enough of your time, bye bye for now!

Why is it that everytime I know I’m going to have a reasonably long night at work I never seem to get much sleep the night before? Generally with the schedule I keep I am up till 3, 4, or 5 in the morning and don’t get up till 1 the next afternoon. Last night I went to bed at 3 and now I’m up at 9:30, WTF! I am going to be so tired later but I can’t go back to sleep. Maybe I should start taking a sleeping pill on nights I know I need the sleep, even if I’m already tired enough to get to sleep. What to do… What to do..?

Oh on a completly different and unreleted note, I am absolutly loving this wordpress for iPhone app, granted I’m sure it would be easier to roll over and pull my laptop out from under the bed and blog that way, but my problem is motivation; and this seems to cure it. Not that it probably means anything to the two whole people that read this =).

I have been pondering going back to a gallery or some other form of hosting for pictures on my website. Hell if flickr releases their own native iPhone (I love the way Apple programs it to automatically capitalize the “p”) app I might just break down and pay for an account. I need to go through and clean up my wordpress plug-ins and such. The behind-the-scenes here is a bit messy. That last layout was the most rigged contraption I’ve ever come up with.

I’m still laying here wide awake, I need to get up and pee, or do *something* constructive…

So yea, Cory and I are sitting in our hotel room watching television. There is a documentary on National Geographic about America’s Prisons; its actually interesting, but never the less it still shows how bored we are. With the time change its really 7:55pm, and we’ve got to be at work at 9:00pm. It was 192.1 miles here (Montgomery AL) and we’re doing two stores over the next two days. I should hopefully be home sometime early Wednesday morning. We rode together, so Cory’s car is at my house. Thankfully after the long drive home after work tomorrow, when I get home I’m home. He gets stuck having to drive from my house to Kennesaw (oh well, its usually the other way around for me).

I got a new application for blogging that I’m trying out right now. Its called MarsEdit (it was so much easier to setup versus the Blogo program). This one also was able to pull all my previous posts for easy editing (if need be). This is the first post from it, so it’ll be my test pilot. For now though I’m going to go back to watching prison gang-bangs LoL!
