Who told people, or implicated that it is okay to use both clear and multicolor Christmas lights on their house? I mean come on pick a theme and stick with it people! And call me a Scrooge if you want, but I hate blinking lights, its just tacky, but who thinks icicles blink in real life, much less have a chaser pattern.

Here I’ve been bitching ever since I bought my iPhone, almost a year ago too, that it’s so stupid that the world’s best iPod couldn’t create playlists. It just seemed so stupid to me that to make a playlist, I had to be at home in front of my computer, make it, then sync it. Plus once its made and synced you have to come back and do it all over again just to make changes.

Well… today I discovered the on-the-go playlist by accident. Essentially it does all the thing’s i’ve been bitching about. You can add and remove songs from it on the phone, on the fly. So Apple, I apologize on behalf of my own ignorance.

Ever have one of those blond moments where you’ve never understood something completely for a very long time, and then out of the blue it hits you? Yea, didn’t think so. Well it did for me on the way home from work tonight. I had my iPod plugged into the car and its set to shuffle, and randomly it chose and older song. Let me preface this with yes I know how lame I am. It chose “Semisonic – DND” now let me tell you, I have had that album since it came out, which was forever ago, and I’ve had it in my itunes library just as long, as well as its been on my iPod too. I throughly enjoy all the songs on it as well. I really don’t know why particularly but never-the-less I do. Now I’ve always in the back of my mind (are you ready for how stupid I am?) wondered why the song was called DND, I couldn’t think in my mind of any reference that would have for anything. Now this isn’t something thats plagued my mind constantly for the past 12 years. just merely something I pondered whenever it would show up on shuffle. As easily as the question of “why?’ came, it would be gone well before I ever had a chance to google it, not that I think I would really care that greatly, or think it would hold that much importance.

I digress… (damn I’m rambling tonight) I was singing along with the song, actually paying attention to the lyrics, not just the words and it hit me. “Do Not Disturb” and duh, I mean damn where they hell has my brain been on vacation for the past 12 years. How could I be so stupid as to not get that? A plain simple acronym, just like “BRB” but my mind couldn’t get it. *sigh*

I think I’m going to be now. For one I’m tired and its late and I just got off work. Then for two, I just want to hide under the covers in shame…

I’ve been seeing this commercial on TV for the new line of AXE products. You know the deodorant and body-wash for boys to make us smell nice n’ shit. Well anyway, it’s marketed as being chocolate flavored (or scented, whichever you prefer… I like to think of everything as having a flavor). The commercial shows this guy (I didn’t even pay attention if he was cute or not) spray himself and then he turns into a chocolate person (no not black… more like a chocolate bunny at easter) and so as he walks around the city people keep licking and biting him (cuz he’s all chocolate). Some lady bites his ass, and another rips his arm off.

Never the less I’ll digress to the point of my dis-a’point’ment (I’m so corny!). After casually looking while out shopping all week for this new flavor of axe, Billy and I finally found it at target. Now they didn’t have the body-wash, only the spray deodorant; so I can’t speak for how the soap smells. The spray smells absolutely nothing like chocolate, it’s all perfumey (even more than the regular axe). Here I am thinking mmm I want to smell like chocolate, and no not going to happen. So boys of the world who want to smell good, don’t get your hopes up. Although please, for my sake, still use deodorant and smell nice!
